say Failing Courage

Written by: Quaero Exurio, Sklaer A. Danial, the Viridian Poet

Darkness comes to eyes wide, ceasing the brightest colors with time.
To leave me in a world so chilled, clawing my way to only fall downhill.
In a land so shaken by mortal hands, yet mine lie transfixed by failures
own plans.
Vengeance Goddess, pay no heed, for suffice not, will my skills to your
deeds.

Like being pulled from rivers flow, so helpless I twitch upon the shore
so cold.
As if my time has come to soon, only to lose against those aged true.
Or is it willed that my destiny be, nothing more, nothing great,
and to an ear that hears Will my voice fade?

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Mayan, in the year 380 AF.
