Sanctuary

Written by: Goldberry

In love dwells protection
In protection dwells loyalty
In loyalty, the spark of doubt.

That doubt festers
This disease spreads
Free thinkers, fellows of open mind.

Love turns to doubt,
And from doubt, distrust,
Distrust blooms into hate,

The worst is always assumed,
Two friends become foe.
Once a garden, now a desert

Once a sanctuary, now a prison..

Beware, fair fellows, lest doubt corrupt.
Flee fair fellows, lest distrust flourish.
Caution, fair fellows, lest hatred consume.

Penned by my hand on the 10th of Ero, in the year 380 AF.
