Traitor

Written by: Jamethiel Windsong, Bard of War
Date: Tuesday, November 30th, 2004
Addressed to: Dimmed but not Dead, Goldberry, Remembering the Sunshine

The words you speak are true, for once a traitor
Always a traitor; I dare not
To beg one difference

I do not.

But the import of what you say is not, I am not he
Who has been a traitor; law
Before lawlessness.

I say.

Walk our silent ways; I left because I no longer
Could bring myself to walk with
Those in my opinion

Unrespectful.

I did go and we still do not see eye to eye
Let us both have our opinions and
Perhaps walk in peace

In the quiet.

Penned by my hand on the 2nd of Scarlatan, in the year 379 AF.
