Eight little words

(A little exercise I undertook in minimalist poetry. I appreciate that
some lines may be less than grammatically correct. Artistic licence,
chaps, artistic licence!)

Drinking rum
And whisky.
Mixing drinks?
Very risky!

Dozing in
Comfy chair.
Snoring loudly
Ruffles hair!

Breaking wind
While asleep.
Stench makes
Angels weep.

Waking up
Quite alone.
Friends have
All flown.

I smell
Evil wind.
I know,
I sinned.

Nothing cures
Bodily functions.
No salves.
No unctions.

Friends forget,
Very soon,
My embarrassing
Bottom tune.

Next time,
Toe line.
Only drink
White wine!

...and a little stand alone verse....

Blowing bubbles.
Effervescent ejections.
Frothy spheres.
Rainbow reflections.

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Mayan, in the year 378 AF.
