Can you hear that?

Wandering for so long
Lost without a home
Feeling so alone,
Left only to roam

Stumble through the wood
Crying out in pain
Echoes sarcastic, rude
Drenched within the rain

Exhaustion stalks its prey
Hunger hunts the weak
Longing just to stay
Sleep begins to seek

Sound amid the sway
Of trees and river's flow
Night reveals the day
Music heard, though low

Beckoned by the song
The spirit brightened
Followed through the throng
The burden lightened

Stopped before the source
Scarce believing eyes
The forest grove's voice
Giving music's rise

Drawn within it's strength
Yet comforted around
Tears flowing at length
Smiling at the sound

The forest becons "Come,
Rest here, soul tired bones sore
Make this space a home
Wander never more"

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Lupar, in the year 370 AF.
