Of Dreams and Fire

Written by: Bringer of the Ducky Doom, Kytira Moonflair

The candle's song sways gently in this space
where once bold shadows become rather meek,
never weaving over your soothing face
but instead edging away from your cheek.
Here we may slumber away from all harm,
swathed in ethereal joy without seams,
woven of deep hopes to adorn my arms--
so loosely wrapped as space for your own dreams.
Where melodies sigh to my emotions,
lived for many suns and never in shade
only summer rays of my devotion--
not even winter can make that heat fade.

And that warmth kindled until I was burned,
aflame forever by your love returned.

Penned by my hand on the 21st of Glacian, in the year 369 AF.
