Longing

Written by: Academie Candidate Cimoril, Menolly's Bardlet

Heaven rejected
Fallen down
Arcadia distant
Ne'er to be found

Wings seem foreign
Strength has waned
A flight to the clouds
Sought yet pained

So sing of life
When freedom beckoned
When air uplifted
and heaven reckoned

Fly once more
Arcadia seek
Join the skies
No longer meek

Penned by my hand on the 10th of Valnuary, in the year 369 AF.
