The Day Lord Neraeos Visited Me

The chamber I stood, time had fallen,
Pondering alone, silent and calm.
Dawn was breaking, a beutiful morning,
Naught to stir and none to harm.

But to notice, my fax was a-looking,
My lemming, once lost, seemed to be found.
I stood trembling, my fear seemed for nothing
And into the room, a faint roaring sound.

A smell of the salt, a smell of the ocean
In awe, I looked to this Lord immortal,
For there stood before me, in all his might
Lord Nereaos of the Sea.

To instruct me in His ways of politeness he'd come
But after this meek as I might
I sought after the Lady Demeter who sleeps
And he assured me She sleeps and
Showed me His great realm.

And though I might test his patience, permission I asked
To ask His opinion of the Current War
He said He would watch from His Dominion
From the watchful waters of His Sea.

So what have I learned, from the boundles sea
What will I take from this here meeting?
I do not know, in awe I still stand
Lord Neraeos, Lord of the Seas!

Penned by my hand on the 3rd of Ero, in the year 366 AF.
