Poetry News Post #1859

Simply Complex

Written by: Fey'Ri Mulciber, The Cataclysm

Addressed to: Everyone

Torn up and destroyed from the inside out,
Not sure what this emotion stirring is about.
Watching my defenses slowly turn to dust,
As the blade in my hand is covered in rust.

What has become of the apathy on which I thrive?
Choked up on emotions how would I survive?
Succumbing to all that I thought I was above,
All I know now is that it is you that I love.

Penned by my hand on the 3rd of Sarapin, in the year 364 AF.
