Siren Song
by Rociel Hyacinthus
Some time ago, after my change
After my form did rearrange
To become well endowed and horned
With hooves, a tail, and large-thick hands...
I met a girl with eyes of grey
"A Siren am I" She would say
"Indeed," I said with smile adorn'd,
"More dazzling than the desert's sands."
Alas I think this siren saw
A man in line with secret law
Of how her mate should look and act
And smile she did at me.
With a great part of her full lips
And a soft swivel of her hips
My heart could barely stay intact
Her song was like the sea.
And as I rubbed my amber eyes
She had taken no great disguise,
But yet she deserved all my care
Suddenly, I wanted her near.
And so to secret nook we stroll'd
My mind struggled to break her mold
Alas my soul cried "Don't you dare."
"Or you'll have more than THAT to fear."
And hard as she could truly strain
A piece of me she could not gain
(And you should all know what I mean)
I rose not to her touch.
She whimpered with a great disgust
And seemed to be drained of her trust
I laughed at what she'd clearly seen
As limp within her clutch.
And then the bellwort I intook
With a bright and impish look
"I'm sorry dear, what can I say?"
"You lured a satyr who was gay."
"Although your skin I cannot maim,
Your body I don't wish to claim...
In fact... Your hand is much too weak
To take me even NEAR that peak..."
With nasty sneer and toxic sigh
The pretty girl bid me goodbye
Her hip did swing as she ducked out
Though barely did I see.
So off with me to some nice place
I payed respect to her fine race
While seeing men stroll in and out
Her song now sung by me.
Penned by my hand on the 7th of Mayan, in the year 361 AF.
