Shades of grey

Written by: Strider Machiavelli

No separation lies like life(,) live(s)(,) we our own two lives
No trysts as dissociation pries divided eyes that gaze awide
Parted parts, left look not right, the day to one, the other night
That stars and sun never could together in the canvas lie
Keeping spaced the trenchwalls we move to bridge anon
Pushing 'part the very rock we built foundations on

Never we the sun and stars both in full blossom sight
Except in halftoned mediocrity, chaotic grey twilight

Penned by my hand on the 12th of Mayan, in the year 359 AF.
