I've never quite felt this way before
My eyes have just been opened to a whole new world
just like a child's sight changing from black and white to color
we've both been hurt
with wounds so deep
mine seem to have been healed by a miracle
though the memory of the pain remains
we nearly rushed it
rushing leads to heartbreak, and believe me,
I know heartbreak all too well
it's different this time
like I'm experiencing something I loved long ago and I've been deprived
of it far too long
I don't want to say I love you,
because I'm not sure I do, I'm testing the water, looking for the answer
But I think I've found a soulmate, love or no love
and if there is, I wanna know -
