Poetry News Post #1740

I'm sorry

Written by: Demosthenes, Serpentlord Historian
Date: Friday, February 20th, 2004
Addressed to: Lady Yura Pelagialus, Pontifex Virtas

I have done the unthinkable.
I have done nothing but wrong.
I have done what none should do.
I am a monster.

What I did, I am sorry for.
My words cannot express my love for you.
Your forgiveness is what I beg for.

Your eyes of lavender,
Your lips of red,
Your hair, prismatic,
Your flesh so soft.

I am a monster, a monster who loves.
I love you, Yura.

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Aeguary, in the year 357 AF.
