My Soulmate

Sitting alone in my room,
Clutching a puppet of you,
Remembering the love we share,
Dying because you're not here.

No laughter flows from my lips,
Only the screams of agony unkempt,
The sparkle gone from my eyes,
Where now only wet tears reside,

In silent darkness I wait,
For your light to return,
To fill the emptiness inside me,
That was my heart and soul.

I have beheld the beauty of love,
Felt my soul completed in you,
In light and happinness I lived,
When we were one, together.

So in this room I sit,Spirit beaten and broken,
Bound in this hell,
Listening, awaiting your call.
