You'll forgive the lack of proper punctuation, the scribe seems to be
unable to make them stay where they belong.

Of Reality or Fairy Tale?

The story of a saddened young man,
Ill tell to you today,
For a ladys heart he fought and fought,
Until he was pushed away.
A knight in shining armour was he,
Searching all the land,
A cynic strong, full of negativity,
He sought a young ladys hand.
And she he found, on a beautiful day,
Her smile it captured him,
And they laughed and talked in a joyous way,
His hand resting on her soft skin.
To he she was a miracle,
She turned his life around,
But to her it seemed that he was less,
And heres the reason that Ive found.
Her heart belonged to another man,
Despite his wickedness,
And this knight in bright and shining bands,
Well he was naught but compliment of finesse.
Her heart belonged to both it seemed,
At least thats what she said,
But he could see right through it all,
There was little light ahead.
Is it not the way of fairy tales,
That the good guy always wins?
Indeed thats so, but this knight good friend,
He was more than just a whim.
He battled darkness far and wide,
No fight hed ever lost,
But despite the promises of the maiden hed found,
It seemed hed finally pay the cost.
For the evil man to whom her heart first belonged,
Hed cast a spell on her,
And no matter the goodness of our wonderful friend,
He had no charm strong enough to save her.
And while this story isnt ended yet,
A future I can see,
The beautiful lady with the wonderful heart,
Shes just a knights fantasy.
For she he seems to have forever lost,
Despite that they talk still,
Once they thought to be together,
But he knows they never will.
