Moonlight in the Garden of Good and Aalen

Moonlight streaked down from the sky
A gentle breeze enchanted by.
The clouds above were floating high
And as I look at them I sigh.

The flowers drink the moonlight
And bathe me with their scent.
The dewy grass conforms me.
Ensures my time well spent.

The leaves of the trees, and the fire near...
Are all that I have left this year.
Are all that she would let me hear...
And all that I have come to bear.

It's strangly how things change so fast..
In the blinking of an eye...
Last year she lay beside me...
And now it's only I.

The smell of her skin, and the bounty within....
The knowlege of actions that I just can't win...
The curves of her body, it should be a sin...
And I just can't help but recall her again.

And the air is still balmy
The grass is still wet...
And I am bound by a promise
I can't fulfill just yet.

It's hard to say "I love you." But harder yet to leave...
Harder still to leave the one you care so much believe.
Faith is the dawning of the tides...water still receeds...
The melody of her voice that flow, upon me now it leads.

It's strangly how things change so fast...
And as the world turns round...
She is still here right beside me.
Underneath the ground.

Penned by my hand on the 12th of Glacian, in the year 351 AF.
