Crimson Void

It spreads slowly on the floor
Like a crimson flower
She's spilt the blood of innocents
And torn them all asunder

She's felt it slowly dripping
Down her sullied hands
Tasted the sacred liquid
Like the finest wines from distant lands

It flows like a river
Staining all deep red
Tis her footsteps that are seen
The scarlet steps of Death

She sleeps in the void
Little ones
Hoping to awaken never more
Close her eyes forever

Till comes her breaking dawn

Penned by my hand on the 10th of Valnuary, in the year 347 AF.
