A Wretched Farewell

Written by: L'ange du debaucherie, Saffire Vorondil

Today is the last day
Of the rest of our lives.
Our last chance to say
Goodbye.
But why don't the soft
Whispers fall from our lips?
It spares no agony,
But only amplifies the pain
In my heart.
Doomed as we are, is it
Too much to ask for
One last kiss?

Of course.
It's always been too
Late for us.
Living in the past
Does me
No favours.
And, in a thousand lifetimes,
I'll never be
Able to repay all those
You've done for me.

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Daedalan, in the year 342 AF.
