Industrial Matters

Industrial Matters

Cold mist fog dark
Grey clouds smoke steam
Faded horizon, burnt forests
Clashing water, empty dream
All that remain

Trees bound by chains
Thick, heavy, rusting chains
Half-sunk in gray water
Filled with secrets, tears and lies
From the industrial age

Broken metal, spindle wheel
Rocks half stone, rocks half steel
Half-burnt boat, can still float
Still attached at the oars
But there's no one to row anymore

As the moon gets larger, day by day
The thriving deer look up, sky at night
Know something is so wrong, sun is gone
But hawk still eats mouse, in cold hope
Tomorrow will never come- forever today

-Ydachikachishiroul-

Penned by my hand on the 10th of Glacian, in the year 341 AF.
