Parted From Love

This should never have been,
This unattainable love.
To much to lose without
Knowing what I may gain.
Her presense heals me,
Her absence harms me.
My heart is hers to break,
Her love to make it safe.

She is far away,
Perhaps never to be seen.
She speaks to me without assumption,
Not knowing what effect it has.
How I long to see her, to hold her.
To tell her I Love Her.
Afraid to do so,
Afraid she will run away.

My dreams are filled
With visions of her face.
Day and night,
She fills my mind.
My heart fills with joy,
My mind fills with pain.
But her vision remains,
continually smiling.

Being in love should
Not be so wrong.
Why must I be silent about
Such a wonderful thing?
What I would give to hear
these same feelings from her.
My heart, my love,
my soul, my all.

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Aeguary, in the year 340 AF.
