I almost never post, but I have something to write about now. Here goes.

When I said that I loved you
And I walked away
I did it for a reason
My words, although few
Were the hardest to say
Even as I'm leaving
My own thoughts I hated
Just as I had anticipated
I should have listened
Now I am ashamed
I walk with a new scar
And it bears only my name
