I was in the tavern the other day, and I heard a tune which I thought
would be perfect for a pirate jig. If you have any questions on this,
leave me a message about it!
I use to be a Druid and I made a living fine
I had a little stretch of land along the Lodi line
But though I tried and tried the money wasn't there
Then Shallam came and took my land and told me fair is fair
I looked at every kind of guild, the answer always no
'Induct you now?' they'd always laugh, 'We just let twenty go.'
Then Prospero He promised me a measly little sum
But I've got too much pride to end up just another bum
I'm gonna a pirate on the river Urubamba!
CHORUS
And it's a heave ho, high ho, cominmg down the plains
stealing moss and bloodroot, and all kinds of grains
And it's a ho hey, high hey Druids bar your doors
When you see the Jolly Roger on Mhaldor's mighty shores
Well you'd think the local Druids would know that I'm at large
But just the other day I saw an unprotected barge
I snuck right behind them and they were none the wiser
I rammed their ship and sank it and stole their fertilizer
A bridge out side of Crystal Leaf spans a mighty river
Druids cross in so much fear their stomachs are a-quiver
'Cuz they know that Traitor Tiax is waiting in the bay
I'll jump the bridge and knock them cold and sail off with their hay
CHORUS
Well, Occie Bob he chased me he was always at my throat
He'd follow on the shoreline 'cuz he didn't own a boat
But cutbacks were a-coming so the Occie lost his job
And now he's sailing with me and we call him Salty Bob
A swinging sword, a skull and bones and pleasant company
I never pay my clan dues and screw the bank fee
Tasur'ke down to Delos, the terror of the sea
If you want to reach Vellis, boy, you gotta get by me
CHORUS
Well, pirate life's appealing but you don't just fine it here
I heard that in Jaru there's a band of buccaneers
They roam the Pachanacha but not near Tasur'ke
And you're bound to lose your stetson if you have to pass their way
Winter is a-coming and a chill is in the breeze
My pirate days are over when the river starts to freeze
I'll be back in springtime but now I have to go
I hear there's lots of plundering down in Polyargos
CHORUS
Penned by my hand on the 12th of Mayan, in the year 330 AF.
