I faced my fear today
sold my heart away
Maybe it's just fate
that I sold it too late
Put it on the butcher's block
surrendered and went to that place
saw the blood of my emotions
splatter all over my hurt face
But that is not what scared me
that's not the big huge curse
what really is starting to kill me
is I did it to her first
she say's that she has healed
Yeah, I guess I'll believe that
but my being an idiot,
I can't get over that fact
So many things
stared me in the face
I covered my eyes
said It couldn't be the case
My own Modesty and self-doubt
My own self-disbelief
caused the anguish of those close to me
caused my only love too much grief
I said "She'd never love you,"
and "that she never will"
When I was the idiot,
who was making the kill
somebody please shoot me
an arrow in each part
for once I was the one causing
someone else's broken heart
