Memories Echo Loss

Petals fall, as tear drops
ripple through my heart
that throbs.

Your voice echoes, through my mind
the laughter, joy, love (that was)
so kind.

That touch you gave, that felt so nice
Gone from my skin now but,
I'll save.

My life, I've shared with you
will never be the same
so new.

My journey is nothing more then
I am at a loss, without you
So lost.

What am I, without you?
What will I do, without you
so lonely.

Where is the warmth?
That I came home to?
So cold.

Memories echo loss.

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Sarapin, in the year 329 AF.
