What is this emotion
This beast of burden
Still a burden to its beast
At least it is a thing
Seen, brought on by keen
Senses of perception, its inception
Brought anew by a few Sights and Sounds
Touches and Tastes
And still it seems to feel
As if it has no place, no body
From the airy nothing it comes
And leaves with a gaudy haste
This shapeless form that permeates space
Why does it come so
Rising and receding like the tide
Flying side to side, riding the wind
Strolling side by side with its friends
Tying ends to meet by making amends
A bond to hold until the end
And of course, we cannot deny
The thousand eyes who have cried
Tears, an eye counted twice as tears prefer no side
Nor the thousand smiles in wonder
Splendor, joy, and pride
This all in mind it winds
Striding lightly through our fields of thoughts
Colored light with amber
And we must remember
That love breeds questions
And does not bring answers
Penned by my hand on the 20th of Lupar, in the year 326 AF.
