While all of the entries I received were excellent, and I enjoyed
singing all of them in the Garden (much to the chagrin of the other
Immortals, I'm sure), I could only select three as the best. So that you
can all enjoy them as I did, I've decided to post the winners here.

Once long ago
In a city far away
A child dreamed of Ascension
And to the Gods each day he prayed

He prayed to Valnurana
To make his dreams come true
But She was deep in slumber
And there was nothing She could do

So then he prayed to Vastar
That he might win his goals
But Vastar was impartial
And refused to taint his soul

In desperation he prayed to Twilight
To open all the doors
But the child did not know Darkness
And found not the dreams he sought

Broken and disheartened
To Sarapis he prayed
And heard a voice within him
That whispered as he lay

"Dear child do not suffer so
For words you wish to hear
For all your prayers are heard to Me
They are whispered in My ear"

I was restless with My world
And so I created the Logos
To give some purpose to your world"
