Just a poem

Darkened Sky

Wind sweep me off my feet
Carry me away
Show me distant places
Show me another way

I do not understand this
These clouds that I now see
Obscure the sight of dreamers
And say they shall not be.

I fall into this dark sky
Unsure of what is to come
A vision in my memory
A fear that makes me run

What to say to this...
What to seek and find?
Perhaps this is all a dream itself
A fantasy in my mind...

Be free O wrestless wings
I stretch you now to fly
And watch the world beneath us
The lives we see flash by

Such a fleeting thing
These dreams that I now see
Of people that will come and go
In this darkened sky of me...

-Aiko Ceadenanch

Penned by my hand on the 5th of Sarapin, in the year 323 AF.
