My Dearest Husband

On Our Anniversary, I sit back and ponder not only this last year, but
all the years that came before it. I ponder how we met, my first contact
in the realms. You know, by the way, you were such a snob back then! You
were kind and attentive as the Mentor you came to be, but you certainly
had issues with what a certain someone was doing to your psyche. There
were times when I hated you as much as I respected your knowledge and
strength. (thats quite a bit) but we managed to overcome that, with a
little effort on both our part, (and the exiting of a certain someone
from your life, *chuckle*) Over time we have built something powerful.
Mutual understanding, trust, respect of eachother individually as well
as the work we do, mutual interests and mutual ties, along with more
love than I've felt in all my 32 years of life. With that, we have
emerged with a marriage, some beautiful children, and the beginnings of
a very long and successful life. With that, I wanted to share a piece of
my heart for all posterity, recorded here, so that all of sapience can
know not only how wonderful you are, and how much I love you, but so
that future historians will as well.

Mornings, I wake to find you awaiting me.

New Memories at the ready, to last my day.

As I giggle, laughing and glowing.
I know we share more than a love, we share a life
Silently knowing our shared goals, shared vision
Makes me only ache for you, in your absence
Leaving me lost at our every goodbye
We have become one with time,
Growing day by day we are more than lovers
Desiring the precious gift,
You have to give.
