Our love.

Written by: Errant Squire Julian Lunare

I feel it is time to speak the truth I've felt inside for so long.
When you and I are together, my heart rings loudly a happy song.
I cannot turn my back on this cry, emerging from my very soul.
The very core of my being your beautiful spirit and angelic voice stole.
Honestly, I thank the Gods and Destiny that this has come to pass.
My love for you feels natural and strong, just like the vibrant grass.
For when a gardener comes and cut it down, it continues to sprout and
grow.
And so it is the very same with the seeds in my heart you did sow.
Before, my heart was blackened like a dark lump of coal.
You came into my life and became the spark which ignited my soul.
You are the one who showed me the true meaning of love's strength.
And I swear to you, no matter what, to return it for all my life's
length.
No person or thing between us shall I ever allow to be,
As the ground resists being separated from the roots of a tree.
They say that blood is thicker than simple water within a pond,
I say that nothing can keep us together quite like our love's bond.

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Miraman, in the year 315 AF.
