The Stars I see...gleaming so beautiful from beyond the trees.
I wonder, my mind ragged from the day, and I wonder, wander
It floats, my mind, in a seeming endless ocean of images, old and new,
and I see my dreams, fantasies, nightmares come to life
I can see my brethren, I can see my life, through the eyes of my mind I
peer into the past
I've seen my blood flow, I've seen my triumphs and woe.
My heart pounds as I remember my battles, gone along as apparitions
but then I remember one who loved me, but she too, a fading memory
but now a new light shines forth, brighter than before, and my heart
springs forth from my chest
I know all is well, I know this light is soft, welcoming me with it's
gentle caress
and I stare further into the night sky, I see the stars are smiling
So wonderf'lly and beautiful, for all Achaea to see....our lives will
soon be up there, our souls, in perfect harmony
in this knowledge I smile, and then I go on, to know tomorrow will bring
another day, but some way, I too shall fly there
I too shall fly in the heavens with the stars, and for all Achaea to
see.
For they shall see what I am.
They shall see....me...
