I'm -pretty- sure this is the first time I've posted here

If I die before I wake,
The Earth's foundation will not quake.
The Sun shall keep its daily course,
And the days will pass, just as before.

If my eyes, henceforth, don't see,
Life shall go on, just fine, without me.
The world shall not pause, as my light goes out,
And the skies wont feel with clouds.

Birds shall still greet the dawning Sun,
Even though, my time here's done.
And when the fire is gone from my eyes,
The stars shall still shine in the skies.
