Xerimor, rouge occultist and outspoken advocate of Evil, took the lead
in a dramatic move against Lord Danaeus on the Chaos Plane. It is
unclear what his objectives may be in this unprecedented attack, but it
is certain that ulterior motives are at work. His actions may very well
strip him of the powers of domination.

Assisted by Mistral, Hwolf, Prophecy and Rakot, Xerimor ventured into
the ancient troll city, summoning Lord Taug. Upon his arrival, Lord Taug
requested of Xerimor a simple favor, revenge. Taug sought retribution
for his betrayal at the hands of Danaeus, the dark savant.

Eager to assist, Xerimor gathered a Mhaldorian war party of vast
proportions and swiftly traveled to the Chaos Plane. Upon finding a
surprised Danaeus, the massive army rapidly slew his mortal frame.
Claiming the broken corpse, Xerimor led the eager Taug to the city of
Mhaldor. Once reaching the sacrificial chamber, hidden within the
recesses of the foul city, Taug fashioned a crimson altar, and trapped
the screaming soul of Danaeus deep within, cursing him to an eternity of
confinement.

The ecstatic Lord Taug, turned this vile prison over to Xerimor,
rewarding his duty. Lord Taug stated it was a powerful artifact for
summoning, binding and imprisoning the inhabitants of opposing planes.

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Ero, in the year 318 AF.
