Has anyone seen my seer?

Lord Adryn,

Here, as requested, are our notes from the recent oracle and seer meeting in your keep. As there were far too many guests to go over them all individually, I've collated their information and the analysis we reached together into a more sustained narrative.

Firstly, and nearly all the oracles agreed, there is a great famine heading our way. Many of them agreed that we should prepare for crop shortages that could spread across the realm. It was implied by several of them that Shastaan would be the cause, or perhaps that they would exacerbate the problem, or that they would take advantage of the issue. For example, one seer said:

"Four come to blows as one. A great clash. The earth, weightless, rising into the skies. A curse from the Fluid One. Pillars of boiling steam! Death and ruin and agony as skin boils and mountains burn! Azure lightning and dry storms!"

Not only does this imply that there will be at least two other factions involved, but it clearly identifies Shastaan as the "Fluid One", per your wisdom, no doubt because of its proximity to the sea.

However, many of the oracles said that while this would indeed be a hard time ahead of us, we would ultimately come out victorious, and from the great strife good things would eventually grow. This may not offer us much hope during the famine and war, but it is something that could still drive us forward under your wise leadership.

Two of the oracles seemed insistent on sharing "prophecies" not related to the Keep, the war, or the crops. Though they were likely charlatans, I note them here for record keeping purposes.

The first, one so called "holy Oracle" seemed insistent on a couple of Cyrenians not marrying each other. No doubt their families must hate each other or some such triviality.

The second was a clearly mad old woman who spoke of the sky falling and stars burning, along with mass death and destruction coming to all. You wisely dismissed this one as a charlatan, my Lord, and so nothing more need to be said about her.

At your service,
your loyal scholar.
