Councilor Orhntieshe,
It is my deepest regret to inform you of the death of your daughter Illiateishe, Vessel #457 to the Kelstaad.
During a routine mining engagement upon the world of D'Marr, a coven of spectra was released from long slumber. In the process of suppression per the standing orders of Foreman Barnaishte an avalanche was triggered, and Vessels were subsequently released to both quell the spectra and preserve lives. Despite the risks to her safety, I am told Illiateishe worked tirelessly to halt the disaster and preserved the lives of many who might otherwise have fallen victim to the incident.
While she was able to save others, in the collapse of the mining tunnels she was slain. Per wishes outlined in her record, which is dated to her attachment to Plainsbreak and Fastrock from the Legion, her body was buried on location that it might benefit the Earth and so we are unable to return it to you at your estate upon the Kelstaad.
At every step Illiateishe showed bravery, loyalty, and honour in her devotion to the ideals and beliefs of the Kelstaad and the great mission bestowed upon us to carry forth the light of civilisation into uncertain futures. Vessel Elnethe in particular spoke highly of her at the commemoration. I am given to understand from her address that Elnethe considered Illiateishe a friend in the time she spent on D'marr.
Our thoughts are with you, her mother Alateishe, and her second-father, Primarch Adaime of the Legion, in this difficult time.
Kind regards,
Chair Ilneine
