Tales of Arcadia: The Strike of Scyros

A storm cloud grew over Arcadia as harbingers of doom swept over its
scrubbed streets, perhaps matching the mood of its citizenry as the
talks with city officials and village leaders continued.

A bargain struck between the Captain Kelley of Mysia and Atoritha,
Plenipotentiary of Arcadia seemingly turned the tide for the severely
outnumbered atavians, with twenty vessels built for an undisclosed
bounty.

At the Eastern shore of Sapience the captain and diplomat met with
smiles on their faces as the fleet sailed toward harbour, ballista
pointed downward at the depths below. Tensions rose as the two figures
stood amidst a crowd of faithful allies of Arcadia and mocking members
of the order of Neraeos, observing in shock as Tritons swarmed over the
approaching fleet, reducing it to nothing but toothpicks and posts at
the command of General Aeolia, Strategos of the Sixth Legion of Scyros.

With understandable panic did Captain Kelley make a conspicuous
departure as the Tritons approached the shore, rowing suicidally towards
the wave of coral-bladed warriors. However, she proved to be as slippery
as she is brave, eluding capture and making her way safely back to
Mysia, paddling her way past the bodies of countless friends and allies
through a bloodstained sea.

Penned by My hand on the 23rd of Glacian, in the year 501 AF.
