The Isle of New Hope

In mid-Chronos of 423, a fisherman from Jaru strode into the city of
Shallam in search of a group of able adventurers. Encountering first the
young Page Djanzair, he explained the task he had in mind, and in short
time a group was gathered. The fisherman explained that his daughter was
ready to travel to a nearby island, where she would join the sisters of
a small monastery, as was the tradition in her family. It had been years
since the fisherman had made the trip to the island, however, and in
addition to the waters being quite dangerous, he was embarassed to say
he had forgotten the way.

Led by Riashain and armed with the fisherman's scant memory of its
whereabouts, the group promptly set out to find the island, passing
through shark-infested waters before making it to a sandy beach. When
they were certain they were in the right place, Sir Trevalyan Veritus
retraced their path to collect young Heddah, who was waiting near her
father's fishing boat in Jaru, and escorted the girl to the island.
Heddah was settled in at the monastery while the group explored the
island, learning about the settlement and its history, and the fisherman
was escorted back to Jaru by Sir Goryllin Dawyn.

Penned by my hand on the 21st of Chronos, in the year 423 AF.
