The Return of the Goddess of Justice

On the 10th of Miraman, a silver light was seen glowing from the Pash
valley and stormclouds racing towards Shallam, Jewel of the East. Then,
tendrils of light snaked downwards from the boiling stormclouds to
strike the earth in front of the Temple of Justice, which had been
locked for many years since the departure of its Lady. As the myriad
telepathic channels across the lands thrummed with excited cries of
astonishment, Miramar, Goddess of Justice, appeared within the beams of
light. She descended then to the steps of Her locked Temple.

Lady Miramar announced to the world that the world had been too long
without Justice, and for that She had returned. Cooper and Satus were
first among mortals to arrive and welcome the Goddess home, followed by
an eager throng. Several Divine descended from the Garden of the Gods to
welcome Her return also: Aegis, God of War; Makali, Goddess of
Destruction; and Selene, the Goddess of Love and Beauty.

The Goddesses Makali and Selene each presented Miramar with a Divine
gift. The augurs of the Goddess of Destruction had foreseen the return
of Justice, and She had forged the Sword of Judgement in anticipation.
She ceremoniously offered it to Lady Miramar with the words that may it
destroy injustice and separate the just from the unjust. The veiled
Goddess of Love and Beauty, appropriately, bestowed upon the returned
Goddess a shimmering blindfold as a symbolic gift of the blind nature of
Justice: blind to gender, race, or affiliations, meted out in equal
parts to all.

After answering many questions from the gathered audience, both private
and public, the Goddess of Justice quietly withdrew into Her temple and
announced that there would be a game to honour Her return. A day later,
an egghunt was held, and Jykon was bestowed with the honour of Her first
favour in many years. Jaizsur and Reiye, as runner-ups, also received
Her favour.

May the world rejoice at the return of the Elder Goddess Miramar from
Her sojourns; may the One who brought Justice to bear even upon Her
equals in the great Tribunal of the War of Humanity deliver Her wisdom
upon us mortals all. May Achaea celebrate in welcome to the fair
Miramar, Goddess of Justice!

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Miraman, in the year 380 AF.
