Tarah

Just to confirm what a number of people have asked me, yes, Tarah has quit. Once again, we are afflicted with flakey Gods who don't seem to have the character to stick to the obligation they made when they were approved to be Gods (and considering that Tarah all but started drooling at the prospect, I thought maybe she'd manage not to flake out.)

In any case, I apologize for the inevitable losing of Gods. It is understandable when someone like Gaia leaves, after having been in Achaea for 3 years, but it is horrible when someone quits being a God, not out of any pressing reason, but just because he or she doesn't feel like it anymore, after a handful of months.

I assure you that we DO try to be _extremely_ picky about who we make into Gods, but for every Twilight or Sartan (and others!) that we rightfully predict will make fine Gods, there are the Tarahs and the first Aegis who we are quite badly wrong about.

Penned by my hand on the 2nd of Sarapin, in the year 263 AF.
