Hey folks!

As some of you are aware, we've been making some behind the scenes changes to the automated curing system, also known as serverside curing. For the most part, these changes aren't going to affect how you use or interact with the curing system, they're primarily performance improvements, though we've made a few quality of life tweaks along the way. A handful of players have been testing this new system, but it's about time we threw the kitchen sink at it.

In pursuit of that, we're going to be running an event later today for those who can be present. The first will be an Open PK game of BEARDBALL. For those who are unfamiliar with the rules of the game, or the implications of its PK variant, please see HELP BEARDBALL. This will be run around 22:00 GMT, or about three hours after the time of this post. The new curing system will be enabled gamewide for all players, regardless of event participation, for the duration of this event.

We're aware this is short notice, and that many of you won't be able to attend this early in the day. We're also aware that some of you are unfamiliar with beardball, and will be hesitant to join. Fear not! We'll be running a second event, an open PK EGGHUNT, shortly after the Serenade.

Per usual, both of these events will contribute to your daily renown. The precise times will be visible on UPCOMING, for those who struggle with timezone conversions. Those who wish to fiddle with the new system ahead of time may NEWCURING ON, if they so choose.
