Bashing Updates!

Bashing damage has just undergone a complete overhaul. For a long time classes have had hugely varying outputs, making it very difficult to pick the class you actually want to play while retaining strong capability in the PVE arena. This is no longer the case.

All classes have been brought up to a very close baseline. There is still some variability, but it is significantly reduced. Class-based modifiers are now far less impactful on average (most classes no longer have one), and there are some considerations made for some long standing issues:

- You will now receive a minor bonus to your damage on attacks that have a significant balance, to offset the drawbacks that come with long attack balances in PVE.

- TERMINUS LAIAD has had its word balance reduced to 2 seconds and the per mob cooldown has been removed.

- DPS calculations now factor the type of balance into the equation, better accounting for the differences between balance and equilibrium across classes.

Below is a list of approximate dps changes, on a class by class basis.

NB: These are not direct bonuses/maluses applied to previous hunting routines. These are comparisons of a class's previous expected dps compared directly to their new expected dps. A 20% buff for one class may be more or less than a 20% buff for a different class. Methods and results will vary from person to person, this is simply a rough estimate of the difference you should see if using your class's most effective methods.

NB TLDR: This is not a ranking of class dps, nor should it be treated as such, nor should any of these nerfs or buffs be compared to any other nerfs or buffs listed in this table, as they are using different scales. These numbers are general estimates only.

Class/Spec -> Unartied change -> Full artied change

2h -> -6% -> -7%
Airlord -> -17% -> -16%
Alchemist -> +24% -> +20%
Apostate -> +24% -> +20%

Dragon -> +0% -> +18%

Earthlord -> +8% -> +8%
Firelord -> +9% -> +9%
Jester -> -13% -> -15%
Magi -> +24% -> +20%
Monk -> -4% -> -2%
Occultist -> +24% -> +20%
Pariah -> -4% -> -4%
Priest -> -24% -> -25%
Psion -> +3% -> +4%
