Ever wish you could help shape Achaea? Do you secretly desire to take on
more of a "game master" role, designing elaborate plots and scenarios to
challenge and amaze adventurers? Now's your chance, with applications
now being open for Celani! This is your chance to leave behind the
shackles of mortaldom and take on the mantle of one of our Pantheon!

Alternatively, ever wanted to employ your masterful coding experience to
manipulate the very foundations of Achaea? We're also looking for
volunteer coders to help maintain and expand our systems to keep things
new and fresh!

We understand that giving up a mortal life is a big step for most, so
we'll be holding a special Q+A session on all things related to these
positions this coming Thursday (12th) at 00:00GMT. If you can't make it,
just drop me a message with your questions, and I'll answer them!

How to apply
------------
1- Read HELP CELANI and HELP PROMOTIONS in full. These are things that
you will need to know before you apply.

2- Due to the legal obligations of this position, we require all
applicants to be 18 years of age or older. We prefer experienced
and mature candidates with at least 500 hours of playtime under
their belt.

3- Send a plain-text email to celani@achaea.com with the following
information:
- Your real name.
- Your real age.
- Your regular occupation and employer (if you're a student, let us
know what school you attend, and what you major in).
- Your characters in Achaea, and a brief list of their
accomplishments.
- What hours you are usually online (in GMT).

If you are applying for a Celani:
- A brief paragraph on why you wish to become a Celani, and why
you think we should consider you for the position.
- Two flawless room descriptions of 80+ words each. You must
follow Achaea's writing guidelines, which are listed in
HELP STYLE.
- A brief outline for an IC event, totalling 100 - 200 words.
This should be of the scale that you see in our regular
EVENTS news posts, and should involve at least two of Achaea's
player-run organisations (i.e. Cities, Houses).

If you are applying for a volunteer coder:
- A paragraph or two outlining your coding background, what your
language proficiencies are, as well as any other skills you
feel that you bring to the table (*nix admin / SQL etc.).
