As sanguine darkness lingered across the firmament, the clarion call
went out to all Captains to participate in our first major event of the
Year 550 celebrations, the Ship Races.

As the salty seafarers eyed each other across their ship's railings,
they battled neck and neck through massive seas and dodged treacherous
chops, seeking victory against their fellow mariners.

After three perilous contests, covering many leagues across the four
oceans, it was Soopay, captain of the Mere Nature who took home line
honours, and a small fortune in credits for his crew!
