Achaeans,

I feel the time has come for some changes on Achaea to revitalize the
players and game. As always, any changes we make will affect the
players, and we strive to make these transition periods as smooth as
possible for everyone involved.

Beginning today Justin Walsh (Tecton) will be taking over as lead
producer on Achaea. Maya has been invaluable and we appreciate the time
and hard work she has put into Achaea. She has been working with us for
nearly six years and has contributed to the community for much longer.

Over the next few days I have asked Tecton to inject Achaea with a
series of updates, events, and player communications via in-game posts,
the forums, and player meetings. We have just made this change, so it
will probably take a few hours for him to get organized.

I have a great deal of confidence in Tecton's ability to take Achaea
into the future and know he'll make some fantastic additions to the game
world. He is very familiar with the combat systems of Achaea, and he
will also be able to provide you with excellent event and role playing
possibilities.�

Maya fans, fear not. She will still be around and will be focusing on
creating and running RP events for your gaming pleasure.
