A portion of our playerbase experienced a short outage for approximately
half an hour today. The cause of this appears to be the loss of a
specific route which prevented access to Achaea's servers from certain
ISPs.

Due to the way internet routing works, we are unsure if the matter has
been permanently resolved or not. To be safe, I would suggest keeping a
low timout (HELP TIMEOUT) configured if you plan on doing anything that
could result in your death, should you be disconnected.

To compensate for this minor glitch, all players who have been active in
the past two days have received a life-enhancing aura that will last
until the next serenade.
