Sea monster encounters

Sea monster encounters are a recent addition to naval adventuring. Some
ships have already experienced encounters with vicious sea monsters
while at sea. Yours may be next, so seafarers, pay close attention!

If you happen to be on a ship that is attacked by a sea monster (which
can do damage to your ship as well as to any adventurers aboard), you
can do one of two things: run, or stay and fight it out. If you decide
to stay and fight it out, you can use your shipboard munitions to damage
the sea monster. Unlike firing at another ship, you will use FIRE
<weapon> <direction the monster is in>. Example: FIRE ARM WEST. You can
only damage a sea monster who is directly adjacent to your ship (1 room
away).

With the Spyglass ability in the Seafaring skill, you can INFO
<direction> <seamonster> to check the current state of the monster's
health. The very bottom line will tell you something like "is brimming
with health" or "appears weakened considerably".
