Use of emotes in combat

Written by: Lathis, Senior Administrator

The use of emotes in combat to mimic the use of illusions is acceptable.
All relevant sections of the PK rules (most notably HELP PK CAUSE,
section 17 and HELP PK RULES, section 2(h)) that apply to illusions
would apply in these situations also. To avoid confusion as to whether
something is an emote or not, the option to have emotes show up in
various colours is given (use CONFIG COLOUR to change this).

To clarify, this is not a change in policy. We have had a few issues
come in recently that have shown a level confusion regarding this
matter, so it was thought best to publicly clarify policy here.

As ever, please do not hesitate to contact me or file an ISSUE with any
questions you might have about this.
