I see you are a scholar but exuse me for saying, but you seem to be a confused one.
The occultists do not represent evil but chaos and that is why the church fights it. The church lives by a set of standards or rules called the ten commandments, which we eneavor to follow to the best of our abilities.
But because you are of a chaotic nature and embrace and follow this nature it is impossible for you to follow such a set of rules for a holy and upright life. This is why the church fights you, because you are incapable of seeing and embracing the light.
Yes, it is true we also fight evil, but this is for a different reason. Evil choses to ignore any rules set up to benefit society because they are only concerned with benefiting themselves. This is why we fight them. The church of achaea can be summed up as an organization to benefit society and all who oppose it are usually selfish, trying to use other means to benefit themselves. Perhaps i have gone on some sort of a tangent but it seems many of you "scholars" do not know the answer to the question "why?"
