The Church is never just one thing, and thus it is not only a
military force that only seeks to destroy evil. The ultimate
goal of the Church is to purge Evil from this land. It will
never be achieved, in all likelihood, but that does not mean
our efforts are futile. We have numerous tools at our advan-
tage, which come from being a true follower of good.

NEVER has an evil person been refused admission to the Church,
if they have honestly repented. Never has the Church greedily
kept the secrets of Her devotion and Her spirituality and Her
forgiving nature from those who deserve it, those who are
honestly trying to change for the better.

Thus, the ultimate whole in the propaganda of the Occultists
towards the Church. You claim we seek to restrict knowledge.
However, who is more guilty of this sin than the Occultists,
who swear solemn oaths to never reveal their knowledge to
outsiders? I have often asked to learn of necromancy, only
to be shown the contradiction of this oath. I can understand,
of course, your refusal of knowledge to me. But to all out-
siders? How is that conducive to your oh-so-noble goal of
spreading all knowledge throughout the world for the better-
ment of all?

You pretend to be benevolent. You pretend to be scholars only
trying to spread knowledge, who have opened their minds to
everything. You do, of course, lie. It is your nature. It has
been your nature since the time of Servelan and Harlequin. I
laugh when I see an Occultist like you who pretends not to be
evil. What is more evil than someone who devours the hearts
of innocent people, kills the young and the innocent in their
own homes, slaughters the Mhun of Moghedu relentlessly?

All of this, and more, you do.

We are forgiving, but we will not hesitate to halt your evil
by destroying you, all the while praying that you will follow
in the footsteps of Isildur, now our Archprelate, and Bakhu,
once the Demiurge of the Occultists.

It has happened before, and it will happen again. Many times.
And, as Ryvern has shown, any that you corrupt, will one day
return to the loving embrace of Aurora and Her Church.
