The truth, as it is said.

I write to you today as the Ambassador for Hashan. Now, many of you know that the role of the ambassador is to help newcomers to the City, as well as to stand as the liason over public channels. Today, I shall perform the latter.

The truth, dear Sapience, is that a few Sentinels decided to get angry when they found the head of one of their own piked within the Courtyard of their Guildhall. Lord Othello, Mistress Merka and I all have ways of finding information, and thru these ways, we found that a "hunt party" was on its way for Othello. We then took defensive stance at the Crossroads of Hashan, and awaited their arrival.

I was informed, a mere few minutes later, that the party had made its way to the corner of Serpentis Blvd. and Pathos Rd. It was there that I intercepted them and faced them with a simple question - "Problems?". The answer, of course, was yes. Now, being that I firmly believe in each person's right to handle individual difficulties, I did not try to force them out of their attack on Othello, I merely told them to leave the City in order to avoid breaking her laws.

It was then that Mr. Fredrick decided to try his attitude upon me.

Now, for those of you who know me, you also know that I have a tendancy to become slightly angered. By the same line, however, I have -NEVER- let my anger carry thru to the entirety of a judgement. In my 6 years as a leader or Minister of Hashan, if I have ever approached that point, I have called upon one of my aides. I am a fair person, and I wish to represent the City of Darkness in such a manner.

Fredrick dared to insult me, my friends, my City and my intelligence, all while standing behind the screen of "I've broken no law, you can't touch me". He saw a small bit of my rage for these actions, and decided to push the situation further. I then removed myself from it, and stood by as my fellow Regent, Othello, was brutally slain within a Grove.

Fredrick, this is personal. If you have problems, then I will remove the titles which I bear, and we will solve them. It is not my way, and it is not that which I choose, but it seems that I'm being slandered and pushed into this. You don't have to respect me, but you will respect my positions. If you'll look back thru the Logs, I venture to say that you'll not find my name in any of the actions that were brought upon you or your friends, yet you have decided to slander and disrespect me publicly. I don't want an apology, and you can bet your very soul that all of your responses will fall upon deaf ears, but be warned that there are others who are not pleased with your actions either.

The choice is yours, Fredrick. Do not pass this chance.

And one final note - The name is Neokove. Learn it well, child.

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Aeguary, in the year 252 AF.
