The Church's stance on Darkness, Evil and Chaos.

Dear Alexus,

I'm afraid that your response to my question seems more like your
personal viewpoints than that of the Church as a whole. For instance,
you claim that the Church opposes Darkness and groups it together
with Evil and Chaos. One of your brethren stated a mere few posts
ago that the Church honours Twilight and that there is even a Priest
who is in his Order.

Furthermore, you mistake the Occultic skill of Cannibalism with Chaos.
The Occultists are aligned with Eris and Chaos, but that does not
mean each and every one of our skills is representative of Chaos.

Thirdly, we do not "life" in a region sealed off by the Logos, and
the Logos has made no complaints himself about the pacts we
form with the entities therein.

As Gandalf said in the news post directly after yours, the Help Church
scroll does say that the Church fights "what they viewed as the ever-
growing chaos and evil..." (although other than that one mention of evil,
the rest of the lengthy scroll only speaks of the Church fighting chaos.)
Although his pointing out of that is helpful, I am still curious to know
where the Church officially stands on this since the Codex, the text
they point to most often as an indicator to their beliefs, has no mention
of Chaos.

As for your diatribe regarding Sartan and his altar, I am puzzled why
you felt the need to address it to me. My question is not related to that
issue.

Regards,

Shakti
